HDTV Setup Help with PS3?
I have an HDTV for X-mas. I do not know which brand is good, but I know it's an HDTV 720p. And I wondered what is the best cable to use for the PS3 to run at 720p, an HDMI cable or Component AV cable?
Basically HDMI is the best and easiest way to connect (if your TV is an HDMI port). However, component AV cable is more than capable of producing a picture quality even on a 720p HDTV. But why bother to 5 different colored wires plugged in?. – HDMI all the way – but be sure if the TV has a port or not, go buy an HDMI cable without success (unless, of course, the PS3 already comes with one)
