What are the best Wii/Gamecube Games?

Ive decided not to sell my Wii, but i want to make the most of it, currently I have only Super smash bros brawl, wii play, and wii sports. Im interested in mario games and metroid was my favorite game when i was younger. Also, are the wii virtual console games worth it? or should i get them on project 64 emulator?
I have an extremely good gaming pc for first person shooters so dont recommend anything for the wii that can also be on pc.

I’m not much of a sports fan, so there is little of that on here and the Wii is also not ideal for first person shooter games, but more for fun and multiplayer aspects. That said, these are games I would recommend personally:
