Can i play my Gamecube on a Media Center PC?

Now I have heard you can hook it up to the monitor somehow but you have to buy some separate cable(DVI?). But what I am asking is can I hook it up to the Video Component of the HP media center pc? I went to best buy and saw they had the Red, Yellow, White inputs. Which is what is on your TV when u hook up the Gamecube. So can hook it up to there and then go to the Media Center program, then somehow Switch to Video 1, 2? If so that would an easy way, without having to buy extra cables on so on.

Not all media center PCs have tuner cards-most don’t. If you have a tuner card, you can hook-up using composite cable (yellow). But, MCE is designed for TV. There is a several second delay built in between the video input and the on-screen picture, so this won’t work well playing games.
